Neuromuscular Therapy, also known as the myothérapie is to apply pressure of the fingers and thumb on the "trigger points" to break cycles of spasm and muscle pain and improve overall functioning.

These points are painful irritated areas in muscles, congested parts of muscle tissue and areas of restricted blood flow, which can put pressure on the nerves, which may radiate pain to other locations. The treatment helps to normalize and eliminate dysfunction.

The technique is often combined with other treatments that tells those employed in the massage and healing sports.

LaStone therapy (therapy for happiness) has been developed in the early 1990s by the massage therapist Mary Nelson. It is a form of massage that seeks hot and cold stones. The hot stones (heated by water) are stones sweet black volcanic basalt, collected from riverbeds. The cold stones are polished white marble.

The treatment begins with a massage using regular oil, the stones are then used in varied ways on specific regions of the body depending on the patient's needs. The combination hot / cold stimulates blood flow (thermotherapy), the cold reduces inflammation and swelling (cryotherapy) and has an analgesic effect removing the pain. This body of work can be used to relieve muscle problems chronic and acute.

The whole process has the positive effect of increasing circulation and lymphatic drainage, which promotes cell metabolism and physical, as well as the fact of producing a state deeply relaxed and meditative. Experience a whole, creates an optimal healing environment and helps the body to rebalance.

The Hellerwork was developed by Joseph Heller in the late 1970s. It is a combination of movements and rehabilitation therapy of muscles and connective tissues, enhancing harmony between body and mind. Used to treat chronic pain, as well as to help people live more comfortably with their bodies.

This technique uses massage deep tissue to remove pain and tension. It is accompanied by emotional advice and instructions (learning movement) on how to perform certain exercises to facilitate the movement of every day.

A course specifically Hellework has 11 sessions, each devoting about an hour to work the body and another half-hour learning movement.

The deep tissue massage is a technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to remove the chronic tension in the body through tapping a delicate and deep finger pressure on contracted areas of the body, muscle fibers, tendons and fascia. This massage also helps reduce and eliminate scars.

The massage Deep tissue focuses on more specific areas of the body and can cause some pain during or immediately after the massage, but if it is done just after the patient feels better than ever after a day or two .

The technique is often combined with other massage techniques such as those used in sports massage and healing.

Reiki (pronounced ki-scratch) means "universal life energy". It is a Japanese system of care that promotes all aspects of well-being.

Reiki is a form of caring touch that transfers energy from donor to recipient. It is a holistic therapy which works on memory, body and spirit by stimulating the natural healing ability to clean the body. It can be used alone or in combination with other treatments to help restore physical and emotional balance in the body.

It is important to recognize that Reiki affects each person differently. Many physical problems (back pain, bowel problems ...) actually come from emotional problems. Reiki works on the heart of these problems and thus, those receiving Reiki certainly feel a strong sense of emotional relief. It is extremely relaxing and ideal for combat stress.

Unlike other therapeutic touches, Reiki is a form of care that involves channeling the flow of positive energy to the receiver through touch. This means that it is not easy to describe the physiological effects of treatment. However, it remains a tool of healing profoundly effective and its benefits are generally durable. Reiki is an experience that must be lived, because often impossible to describe clearly in words.

Rolfing

Dr. Ida Ralf was the first to create, teach and practice a system of bodywork designed to work with the connective tissues of the body to carry out structural changes in the patient through manipulation of the deep fascia.

The fascia or connective tissue tightens and connects all the structures inside the body (organs, bones, blood vessels, nerves etc..). The fascia is a sail-shaped solid single that connects everything from head to toe. This interconnection means that if the fascia becomes cloudy or trends in a region of the body, it could make the muscles, bones and nerves somewhere else.

This ability of fascia to affect distant parts of the body of cops gave Ida Rolf, biophysicist, an idea to help people suffering from pain and chronic tension. Rolf believed that injury, chronic stress or emotional trauma could make the fascia rained thick and sticky. To restore freedom of movement and better align the head, shoulders, chest, back, pelvis, and legs, she has developed various manipulations to properly stretch and thicken the fascia. Hence was born the Rolfing.

Rolfing involves manipulation and realignment work of deep tissue, which can be painful. The benefits of treatment are known to help people relax and move more comfortably, and even greater range of motion of shoulders and other joints.

The healing massage is one of the most effective currently available means of preventing and treating injuries, pains and muscle injuries.

The healing massage based on the fact that the connective tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia) respond to touch. Most of the pain is causing myofascial (connective tissue). Pressure points (sensitive points in muscles, which emit or refer pain in various parts of the body) can mimic many conditions. The muscles do not only move our joints, they stabilize and armor are for internal organs. Note that minor problems at these functions cause more pain than most realize people. Most headaches come from neck muscles or head. Most of the pain of conditions such as angina from a hyper contraction of the muscles of the chest. Most abdominal and pelvic pain can be caused by pressure points in the abdominal and pelvic muscles. The pain in the lower back or sciatica are more likely to come from muscles that problems Scenarios at the spine.

Although many patients who consult a therapist healing suffering because of specific injuries (whiplash, falls, sports injuries, etc..) Repetitive injuries and other problems at work, the vast majority come from problems with postural (structural alignment) which may date back to childhood or adolescence.

Many curative massage therapists are able to practice higher, which usually includes a deep study and qualifications in anatomy and physiology. This knowledge and this knowledge will allow additional therapist to complete a classification and provide appropriate treatment to a wide variety of diseases. It is always advisable to consult a physician before receiving massage for specific diseases that may not be related to connective tissue.

The treatment uses techniques of massage to treat fabrics to both deep and shallow, somewhat different from those used in sports massage. The remedial massage therapist employs a manipulation technique combined with a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology to relieve pain, correct and standardize the body muscles and connective tissues.

The procedure, effects and benefits of massage are similar to those specified in section (previous?)

Reflexology

Reflexology is a gentle and effective form of therapeutic treatment applied to the feet and sometimes hands. Reflexology is considered a holistic treatment technique designed to treat the individual as a whole, to create a state of balance and harmony in body and spirit.

Reflexology is based on the belief that there are reflex areas in the feet (and hands) that correspond to all body parts, including the principal organs. The therapist stimulates these organs and systems, working up through the reflexes, applying pressure on the feet with thumb and fingers.

A treatment lasts between 40 minutes and 1 hour. During the first meeting, a history shall be conducted to assess which may be within areas potentially unbalanced or problematic. The patient sits on a sort of recliner or in a sitting (or lying) is similar and asked to remove his shoes and socks. Once the feet were cleaned, treatment starts with a gentle relaxation sequence which helps to relax the patient and guide the therapist on any problem areas.

Most people can benefit from reflexology, it can relieve a variety of acute and chronic diseases and is suitable for all ages, including children. Once the body has been rebalanced, regular treatments can help maintain good health and well-being.

Overall, a reflexology treatment is pleasant and soothing. It relaxes while stimulating the specific process of healing. However, each person reacts differently to treatment and in some cases can undergo a variety of short-term reactions, for example relaxation, fatigue, lethargy or tears in the extreme.

Benefits and Effects

Reflexology is not intended to 'cure all' but numerous problems have been successfully treated using this method. Among these disorders, migraine means, sinus problems, hormonal imbalances, breathing disorders, digestive problems, circulation problems, problems with back, tension and stress. Most people who have received treatment will agree that the method can be very beneficial and is a very relaxing therapy.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

This treatment is much more pleasant than what he suggests. Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) helps remove toxins and excess body by stimulating the lymphatic system of the body using specific techniques of massage.

The lymphatic system is vital to our immune system. Part of its function is to sell, convey and dispose of our tissues foreign substances and wastes. This technique of massage gentle, rhythmical, precise moves to the lymph nodes, where the body can separate waste more easily. The technique is also effective for removing blockages in blood flow, which can lead to edema (swelling of tissues).

Other benefits of treatment are also known to make skin cleaner, better immune system and greater vitality.

The deep lymphatic therapy (TLD)

The deep lymphatic therapy (TLD) was initiated by Grace Halliday, an Australian woman. Through his experiences, Grace discovered that many degenerative problems are related to dysfunction of the lymphatic system, which, if not repaired, can cause an inability to remove waste and toxic materials. This toxicity is spreading in various types of tissues, resulting in a wide variety of symptoms known as sick then.

The lymphatic system is a complex system of vessels and nodes that collect and neutralize the foreign protein or bacteria that invade the body. The TLD is used to relieve the superficial lymphatic vessels, medium and deep through the body, which has become congested because of the trauma. When the body supports any type of damage / impact (and this may come from birth, including birth trauma) an area of congestion develops. Over time, the congestion becomes stronger and can retain fluid around the area, thereby increasing the apparent magnification level of the body and blocking the natural flow of certain bodily fluids.

Many conditions respond well to this treatment (even problems such as angina, migraine, some cases of diabetes, IBS, pain in his lower back, chest congestion etc.) although it is especially good as a word for anyone wishing to prevent problems in the future. -Cons are given the situations of pregnancy, epilepsy and appendicitis.

The treatment is a massage deep tissue, performed systematically on each body part, followed by the use of a hot fomentation (application of hot steam) which liquefies and was decomposed by the massage. The head is treated leaving the patient with a final great sensation of relaxation.

As it is essential to work on the whole body during treatment, the duration is usually an hour and a half. The first appointment includes a consultation, so there should be two hours.
